Imperia
Imperia is a "5X" space strategy game from independent developer Steve Hawkins.
Concept
According to the home page, Imperia is, "a new type of 4X that combines epic empire-building with dealing with individual personalities." This puts you into the role of an individual person in the game universe, rather than an omnipresent being that can do anything at any time. The game also has other characters akin to the Crusader Kings series.
