Protostar: War on the Frontier was meant to be the third game in the much-beloved Starflight series, but due to a rights issue, it was published with a new name. Much of the core tenets of the gameplay from Starflight, such as exploration, crew management and communication, are all present in this game.

Concept

Along the frontier, it's your job as a covert Protostar agent, to bring the four main races of the region into an alliance to fight the Skeetch and their incursion into civilized space.
