Millennia: Altered Destinies is not only a space travel game, but a time travel game as well. An alien race has given you a time ship in order to save a galaxy from the Microids, which you do by seeding then helping other races flourish and thrive, so they can help you get the needed technology to destroy them. Oh, and you'll also possibly fight yourself along the way. Time travel is sticky.
Concept
The Hoods have given you control of the XTM, a sentient time ship with an awesome AI, to save the Eschelon dimension from the Microids. You need to seed and guide four races within the galaxy to such a technological level that they help you defeat them. This means jumping in time and space from one crisis to the next in order to help them survive.
