Parkan: The Imperial Chronicles is the first game in the Russian-based Parkan series by Nikita games. It features both space flight and first person combat, along with some light RTS elements. It was very difficult to procure outside of its native Russia until recently, when GOG released it.
Concept
As captain of the Parkan H-15, you're tasked with flying to an unusual sector of space in order to find the missing ship, Wanderer. That's when all kinds of hell starts to break loose.
