Starshatter: The Gathering Storm

Starshatter: The Gathering Storm is the sequel to the original Starshatter released a couple of years earlier. This new version features better mod support, improved graphics and dozens of other, small changes. The game has been released into open source as of a couple of years ago, and can be downloaded fully for free.

Concept

The system is at war, and as a member of the military, you must do your part to help end the conflict. Start as a fighter or bomber pilot and work your way up through the ranks to command capital ships in a dynamic campaign unlike most other space sim games of its type.
