The first time I played this was at a Star Trek con in NYC. 1978, 79? The US army set up a terminal in the dealer’s room. It was part of a recruitment drive! This was also my first exposure to a computer game. You got a number and waited on line. When it was your turn you had a fixed time to play, maybe 10 minutes? It seemed like 10 seconds. The line was a mile long. Every now and then the connection dropped. So it was like playing WoW on release. :-)
