Hey folks, welcome to the latest installment of the Space Game Junkie Podcast. Sorry for the delay in getting this to y’all, but real life sometimes creeps in and makes its presence known above all else. ;) That said, every now and then Jim and I feel it’s good to just sit back, shoot the crap and catch up with the news, what we’ve been playing and so on, so that’s what this latest show is about, and let me tell y’all, we are allllll over the place, in a good way. ;)

Miscellany:
Hi guys, just wanted to chime in on the Oculus rift video thing – the videos on Youtube are actually an exact capture of what’s being sent to the Rift’s screen, so you can watch them on the Rift and get the same sense of scale, 3D depth etc. It’s a little weird as you aren’t in control of the head tracking/movement, but other than that it works pretty well.
Loving the podcast by the way!
Welcome to the comments Brad, and I’ve never heard of your Flagship game until today. Looks nifty!
Thanks Brian! We haven’t reached out to any press outlets yet, so we’re pretty under the radar. I would be surprised you even found it, but finding space games seems to be your super power. :P
D: Kingdoms was the best of them! such lies!
XD
but seriously, I loved that game… and though I did play the others… none of them ate my life like kingdoms. (but never finished the story mode, I preferred skirmishes)
Heh, maybe I’ll have to try it then. :)
The only thing I can really say about it… which is probably a negative to be honest… Play one of the two “evil” races and ‘steal’ the builder units for the other three. :P That way you get all the units and buildings in the game.
Hhmmmmmmmm…maybe, one day. Not in a rush to play it now, too much shininess. :)
way too much!
