Heeeeeeeyyyyy folks, how are ya? Welcome to this latest episode of the Space Game Junkie Podcast! This week, Jim and I don’t have a guest (MUAHAHAHAHAH!), so we talk about 4X games, my fascination, and Jim’s current fatigue with ’em. We also talk news and a few other things, but we’re surprisingly more on-point than we usually are without a guest. ;)

Nice podcast. Lots of interesting stuff.
Seeing how you talk about all of these old games, how about dedicate part of your future podcast to Star Command Revolution? Are you familiar with that one? Its brilliant and very underrated, but definitely worth of attention… its pure RTS though, not a 4X game.
BTW, if you play SoaSE Rebellion, i recommend trying the Vasari Loyalists faction, they are the most fun. At final tech level they can “sell” their planets for money and resources and go fully mobile, using their Titan as a mobile homeworld… Sins is not really a story driven game, but this lets you pretend you are sort of like aliens from Independence Day, going from planet to planet…. its very cool.
I know of SCR, but never really played it I don’t think. I’ll see if I can dig up a copy. :)
