SGJ Podcast #238 – Venting about Elite: Dangerous

So Much Potential…

Welcome to this week’s podcast my friends! This week, Jim, Hunter, Spaz and I are joined by our friend Dennis (Denacity in our Discord group) to discuss the game we love to whinge about, Elite Dangerous. Now don’t get me wrong, we actually love Elite, it’s just that we see all these other games doing some things better, whether it’s the economy in EVE Online or the shared universe in Jumpgate, that we then say to ourselves, “I wish Elite had that.” It also happened to be the big day for its latest content drop, so we got to try some new features out as well. After a lot of talking, we all came to the point that we feel Elite has a lot of potential, it’ll likely just take years to live up to it.

We’re off next week as I recover from dental surgery, but join us in two weeks when we talk to the developer of Mega Wars. As always, if you have a comment or question, you can drop it below, email us at hail@spacegamejunkie.com or hit us up on the forums. Thanks for listening/watching, and we hope you enjoy the show!
