Hey folks, happy Wednesday! If you’re wondering what the deal is with the title, first off, I got less sleep than usual last night and I am so, so, so tired. It’s also raining really hard here in Los Angeles. I mean, we need it, and it’s great, but this city is NOT prepared for this much rain. It never is. We have poor drainage which can cause flooding, terrible drivers on a good day, let alone a wet one, and fire-ravaged areas that are prone to mudslides when rain like this hits us. So yeah, weird day, but a lot has been happening in the news, so I figured I’d throw this together for y’all. :)

Fuck this game. Sorry for my language, but god, this game is so. Forking. Terrible. I’ve so rarely had a game just sap my joy entirely that I had to walk away from the PC and just stare at a wall for thirty minutes. That’s what happened here. If you wanna skip to me sounding at my most defeated, just go here and have fun. I seriously never want to touch this thing again.
Last night we talked to the developer of Hypergate, which was just a lot of fun. It’s so rare that we talk to a dev who doesn’t aspire to ultimately be a game developer, or maybe this was the only time that’s happened, but it was FASCINATING. Such a great episode all around.

Debris Field – After getting the key for this, I gave it a whirl. It’s 2.5D with realistic physics, so wow is it fun and wacky to control. I’m also not very good at it. Despite this, I had quite a bit of fun with it.
Assassin’s Creed: Origins – Still having a blast with this one. I did a quest wherein I had to help a merchant’s daughter by being her bodyguard for a spell, and wow, the stuff that happened. The funniest was that her horse got stolen and I had to return it, which was a fun chase. I’m twelve hours in and apparently 25% through the main plot. Sounds good to me.
