Hey y’all, I’m sure you’re aware already, but just in case you didn’t know, X3: Albion Prelude is now available on both Steam and GamersGate for about $10. Remember that you also need X3: Terran Conflict to play this, which you can also get on the above sites. :) I should start my diaries of the game in a few weeks. Enjoy!

Drats! This DLC is free to those who have purchased the "Gold Box" but apparently not for those of us who have purchased the functional equivalent of the Gold Box, the same DLC add ons, one by one, (at a higher price, by the way). :/
I won't whine about it since $10.00 isn't TOO bad. (Yes, I have to budget every single penny, too, so I know that $10 is VERY hard for some folks to come up with). On the bright side – how often does the industry come up with a quality space shooter like this that is NOT Tower Defense or a pure strategy game? (Yawn). I, for one, don't like either. A new chapter in the X series is a veritable gift to me. Even beyond that – how often are we asked to pay $10 for games that are "not ready for prime time" or just plain crap: kiddy games. Doom or Quake rip-offs, etc.
In between SWTOR and X3: Albion I am happy as a pig in sh*t right now. Pardon my rant. Happy holidays to everyone.
