Star Wars Galaxies Endgame, Fan Site Hacked

It's so hard...to say goodbye...to yesterday...

A couple bits of news about Star Wars Galaxies has flown through the pipeline. First, a post on Blue’s News talks about the endgame plans leading up to the final closure in December, which will involve an “epic conclusion” to the long-running game. On a not-as-happy note, MCV is reporting that a popular SWG fan site, SWGalaxies.net, has been hacked, and that over 21,000 email addresses and 23,000 passwords were compromised, so if you use that site, it’s time to change your passwords.
