Spacey Game News and Deals 7/2/13: The Little-Bit-of-This-Little-Bit-of-That Edition

Hellllllloooooo my friends, and happy Tuesday! Lookit, two days of news in a row! Whuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut?! Ahknowrite? Seriously, it’s been good to breathe, you know? Get some air and have some time and energy to do these news thingamajigs. :) There’s not a ton today, but there’s some good stuff, so let’s dive in!

• GoD Factory: Wingmen – With just three days left in their Kickstarter, the devs have opened the game for all to try for a month, and have released a video showing off some gameplay, which will be embeded below.
• Star Trek Online – First, we have a dev blog looking at Romulan dreadnaught warbirds (SO SEXY), which are now available by the by, as well as a Summer Ship Sale. Wheee! I want a Defiant-class “escort” please. ;)
• Rogue System – There’s a new dov post showing off the concept art of an Nythian Colony Ship/Orbital Station. Nifty!
• EVE Online – According to many sources (in this case, MCV), EA Play4Free VP Sean Decker has left EA to join CCP and will be responsible for overseeing the game’s worldwide development.
• Star Conflict – The game has now added pirate ships! Arrrr!
• Horizon – The early access alpha for this game is now available for purchase on Steam for $18.99.

Speaking of purchase, there are some other deals worth mentioning, such as:

• FTL is on sale on GOG today for $2.49, which is an insane value. The official site has also matched this price.
• Kinetic Void’s alpha access is on sale today on Steam for 50% off, or $9.99.
