Legends Of Pegasus 4X Strategy Game Announced

Thanks again to Rock, Paper, Shotgun (I love that site) for informing folks of another space game, this time from NovaCore Studios. Entitled Legends of Pegasus, this strategy game has quite a bit to offer, and is being called a “epic space adventure with an innovative mix of turn based and real-time strategy”. More info after the cut…

From the translated press release, the game has an interesting mix of features, such as:

  • 4X-sci-fi setting: Explore! Expand! Exploit! Exterminate!
  • Innovative mix of turn-based strategy and real-time space battles
  • Stunning 3D graphics
  • Three races and twelve playable factions
  • Several hundred research technologies combined with dynamic and trees
  • Living universe, populated by a variety of non-player civilizations
  • Customizable tactical complexity and depth make the game suitable for beginners as well as for core gamers attractive
  • Individual players with an epic story
  • Multi-player focus
  • Extensive modding capabilities

Sounds like an intriguing mix of Sins of a Solar Empire, Distant Worlds and Sword of the Stars, which isn’t a bad mix at all. I’ll keep you posted on this one as more info comes to light. In the meantime, here are some other screenshots to whet your appetite:
