Hello, and welcome to my new website, Space Game Junkie. My name is Brian Rubin, and I am indeed a space game junkie, and have been since late 1970’s. This site was inspired by The CRPG Addict, which chronicles one man’s journey through playing every computer-based role-playing game ever made. I loved the idea, and decided to adapt it to MY favorite type of gaming, space games, as my personal motto has been, “If it has a spaceship, I’ll play it.” This site will put that motto to the test.
Therefore, I will be writing about every space game made for a personal computer in chronological order. The list, as you can see, is pretty extensive, and even as of right now isn’t fully completed yet. If you’re curious about how a game is chosen and such, you can read the rules on that here. I’ll also be writing news stories on current and upcoming games, as well as Op-Ed pieces about space gaming in general.
